ABOUT ŽABLJAK
Located in the centre of the magnificent Durmitor Mountain rising above beautiful valleys and cliffs; exactly at 1456 meters above the sea level; surrounded by forests, lakes and pastures, there is a place you will always want to return to - Žabljak. The Žabljak Plateau is the most populated urban area on the Balkan peninsula and is a part of the Durmitor National Park. In 2021 Žabljak was named the most beautiful city in Montenegro and it is one of the most visited places in southern Europe. Žabljak is a great destination for all lovers of nature and fresh mountain air, those who look for serenity and seclusion, but also for those who seek adrenaline and to conquer the peaks. Two (2) kilometres from the city, you will find, as beautiful as famous, Black Lake. It consists of "Malo" and "Veliko" lake, which merge during higher water levels. If you prefer slightly colder water , you will find refreshment in the smaller “Malo” lake- with the deepest point of 49m- as it is twice as deep as the “Veliko” lake. The weather on Žabljak is quite unique: the climate of this region is continental, with short and warm summers and long and cold winters. As it is adorned with 18 lakes, on warmer days you will have the opportunity to dive into at least one of the lakes- "mountain eyes" as they are known. One of the interesting things, unknown to many, the second largest canyon in the world, after the Grand Canyon, is the canyon of the River Tara – the jewel of Montenegro. Therefore, Ćurevac, as the largest of the 3 vantage points at the very edge of the canyon, has an undeniable appeal for many visitors.

In the quietest part of Žabljak, only 700 meters from the city centre, in “Kovačka Valley”, you will find High Haven- our second home- where we have opened our doors for you and a place that justifies its name. Parking is provided for 2 vehicles next to the house itself,. The front terrace overlooking the forest brings smiles all around; is there anything better than a barbecue overlooking the mountain and pine forest? High Haven is an 80 m mountain lodge with two (2) spacious bedrooms on the 1st floor: Master bedroom featuring a double bed and a balcony with a unique view of Mount Durmitor and another bedroom with 3 beds (+2 extra beds) overlooking the forest. The ground floor has an anteroom that leads to: on one side to the bathroom, on the other side to a separate room with an infrared sauna. The rest of the ground floor consists of a spacious open area that encompasses the living room, kitchen and dining room featuring a lovely fireplace in the central part with a large glass wall that allows wonderful view of the mountain and an exit to another balcony. The facilities of Hight Haven offer you everything you might need for a premium quality holiday. The infrared sauna will give you an opportunity for relaxation and recovery after a full day in nature and in the bathroom you will find handy hair and skin care products. The washer and dryer are at your disposal and there are short user instructions placed next to each device. In the kitchen, you will find a stove and an oven, fridge with freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle, with all the other necessary items – from pans and pots to wine glasses- for a comfortable stay. In the living room, in addition to the smart TV there is a JBL portable Bluetooth speaker. The Wi-Fi modem is also portable and allows you unlimited internet wherever you go.
O ŽABLJAKU
Smješten u samom centru veličanstvene planine Durmitor koja se uzdiže iznad prelijepih dolina i litica, točno na 1456 metara nadmorske visine, okružen šumama, jezerima i pašnjacima, nalazi se mjesto kojemu ćete se uvijek vraćati - Žabljak. Visoravan Žabljak najviše je naseljeno gradsko područje na balkanskom poluotoku i dio je Nacionalnog parka Durmitor. 2021. godine Žabljak je proglašen naljepšim gradom Crne Gore i jedno je od najposjećenijih mjesta u južnoj Europi, nezaobilazna atrakcija svih zaljubljenika u prirodu i svjež planinski zrak, one željne spokoja i osame, ali i onih željnih adrenalina i osvajanja vrhova. 2 kilometra od grada nalazi se poznato i prelijepo Crno jezero. Njega čine "Malo" i "Veliko" jezero koja se spoje pri višem vodostaju. Ljubitelji nešto hladnije vode osvježenje pronaći će u onom manjem, s najdubljom točkom od 49m, dvostruko je dublje od Velikog. Vrijeme na Žabljaku svakako je autentično i jedinstveno. Klima ove regije je kontinentalna, s kratkim i toplim ljetom i dugom i hladnom zimom. Kako ga krasi 18 jezera, tokom toplijih dana imati ćete priliku zaroniti u barem jedno od "gorskih očiju". Jedna od zanimljivosti koja je mnogima nepoznata, drugi najveći kanjon na svijetu, nakon Grand Canyon, upravo je kanjon rijeke Tare – dragulja Crne Gore. Stoga je Ćurevac, kao najveći od 3 vidikovca na samom rubu kanjona, nezaobilazna atrakcija.
DETALJI O KUĆI
U najmirnijem dijelu Žabljaka, samo 700 metara od centra grada, nalazi se Kovačka Dolina. Naselje gdje se smjestio High Haven, naš drugi dom čija smo Vam vrata otvorili i mjesto koje opravdava svoje ime. Uz samu kuću osiguran je parking za 2 vozila. Prednja terasa uz samu šumu mnogima će izmamiti osmijeh, jer što je bolje od roštilja s pogledom na planine i borovu šumu? High Haven na svojih 80m2 na katu ima 2 prostrane spavaće sobe, jednu s 3 kreveta (+2 pomoćna ležaja) s pogledom na šumu, a drugu s bračnim krevetom i izlazom na balkon s kojeg se pruža jedinstveni pogled na planinu Durmitor. U prizemlju se nalazi predsoblje koje s jedne strane vodi u kupaonicu, s druge u odvojenu sobu s infracrvenom saunom. Ostatak prizemlja čini prostrani otvoreni prostor sa spojenom kuhinjom, blagovaonicom i dnevnim boravkom s kaminom u centralnom dijelu, a velika staklena stijena omogućuje Vam pogled na planinu i izlaz na još jedan balkon. Sadržaj omogućuje sve za neometan vrhunski odmor. Od kupaonice gdje se nalaze neizostavni preparati za njegu kose i kože, do infracrvene saune za relaksaciju i oporavak tijela nakon cjelodnevnog boravka u prirodi. Perilica i sušilica rublja stoje na usluzi i uz svaki uređaj nalaze se kratke upute. U kuhinji se nalazi štednjak i pećnica, frižider sa zamrzivačem, mikrovalna, toster i kuhalo za vodu, uz sve potrebne sitnice – od tave do čaša za vino. U dnevnom boravku uz smart TV nalazi se JBL prijenosni bluetooth zvučnik. Wifi modem je također prijenosni i omogućuje Vam neograničeni internet kamo god pođete.
